Spencer Diercks parks in victory lane at 34 Raceway
A four race stretch opened for Spencer Diercks on Thursday with the Davenport, Iowa pilot returning to Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, Iowa) for the IMCA Modified portion for the King of the High Banks.
Pinned on the seventh row for the A-Main via a fifth-place heat race showing, Diercks climbed three spots in the 20-lapper to finish 11th aboard his Roehlk Concrete Contractors No. 29 Modified.
Back behind the wheel of the Ryan Duhme-owned No. 21 Modified at his home track of Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday, Spencer backed up a 10th-to-1st performance in his heat race with another impressive run in the feature. He took the green in 11th and charged up to a runner-up finish at the checkers.
Racing into victory lane on Saturday at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), Diercks placed fifth in his heat before racing to his second win of the season the main event. Austen Becerra and Chris Zogg rounded out the podium in the 20-lap affair.
Dierck’s weekend concluded on Sunday with a 10th-place finish at East Moline Speedway (East Moline, Ill.).
