UMA POST RACE INSPECTION ALL CLEAR FOR GSR & AEC AFTER TRICKLE 99

Wisconsin Dells WI-The UMA Post-Race inspection of the second place finishing GSR Motorsports entry of Gabe Sommers and the motor produced by Advanced Engine Concepts Inc. are complete after the Alive for 5 Series Trickle 99 on Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park and there were no issues or violations cited with the GSR car itself or the Advanced Engine Concept Race Motor. During Post-Race inspection of the Gabe Sommers Racing entry #15, the car rolled thru UMA Tech with no issues, however during engine inspection the head UMA tech official pulled the intake manifold from the AEC motor for a further inspection and it was impounded. The Eldelbrock intake manifold used on the popular Southern Super Parts Engine was deemed stock as produced from the manufacturer Edelbrock with absolutely no port matching, blasting or aftermarket machine work of any kind performed. The intake manifold in question was returned to GSR Racing on Monday. The UMA would like to thank GSR and AEC for their cooperation during this process and apologize for any inconvenience.
