Rain cuts Mother's Day weekend short for Spencer Diercks

Kicking off his Mother's Day weekend on Friday, Spencer Diercks was one of 22 IMCA Modifieds checked in at his home track of Davenport (Iowa) Speedway.

Making up four spots in his heat race, Diercks started the 20-lap feature from 11th, but only made 13 laps before pulling off with a mechanical issue.

Taking an off-day on Saturday, Diercks was back in action on Sunday afternoon at Dubuque (Iowa) Fairgrounds Speedway.

Charging forward in his heat race, Spencer was slated to start the main event from the third-spot before rain showers postponed the event.
