Successful Weekend for the 77k
Eagle Raceway (09/08/2017) Katlynn's two day weekend with the POWRi WAR Sprints would prove successful. Starting Friday night in Eagle, Nebraska Katlynn would throw a last lap slider on the current point leader to capture her first heat race win of the season. She would go on to gain another top 10 finish of 7th in the main event.
I-35 Speedway (09/09/2017) Saturday, starting the back of the pack in heat race Katlynn made a hard charge to the front, running out of laps, finishing 3rd and earning the nights High Point Man honors. She would pull a zero for the redraw and keep herself starting on the pole for the main event. Tough track conditions would put most of the front of the field in the pits before the checkered flag dropped, including the 77k.
